Semafor hires Chalfant to cover national security

Morgan Chalfant

Morgan Chalfant has joined Semafor as a reporter in Washington, D.C., where she will cover national security through the newsletter Principals. Recently, Chalfant was a White House reporter at The Hill.

There, she also held the posts of national security reporter and cybersecurity reporter. She reported for the Washington Free Beacon and wrote for Red Alert Politics. Chalfant interned at USA Today and The Washington Examiner.

Chalfant has a B.A. from Boston College.
