Semafor appoints Sarlin Washington bureau chief

Benjy Sarlin

Semafor has tapped Benjy Sarlin to serve as Washington bureau chief. Sarlin was a policy editor at NBC News, where he worked for more than nine years. There, he also served as a political reporter.

He was a political reporter at both TPM Media LLC and The Daily Beast. He was a reporter at The New York Sun.

Sarlin has a B.A. from Vassar College.
