Herb Scribner will join The Washington Post as a breaking news reporter in Features. Recently, he was a reporter at Axios.
Scribner begins Monday.
Prior to joining Axios in May 2022, Scribner was a trending and entertainment editor at the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, where he worked for more than five years.
He also wrote on national news, including faith, family, finance, culture, education and policies for Deseret’s National Edition, and was an enterprise reporter for its morning news operation.
Scribner served as a collegiate correspondent at USA Today and a blogger at MassLive.com.
Scribner has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
