Deanna Schwartz will join MSNBC as an associate platforms producer in Washington, D.C. She will begin in November.
Currently, Schwartz is social media editor of Opinion at the Boston Globe, where she joined in May 2021 as an audience engagement co-op. Later, she held the post of digital homepage producer.
She worked briefly at Bethesda Magazine, a Maryland bi-monthly, and has interned at the Boston Globe and NPR. She was a stringer at AP and her work has appeared in The Washington Post, Insider, Teen Vogue, Alma and Poynter.
Schwartz has a B.A. in journalism from Northeastern University in Boston.
