Marisa Schultz has joined the Washington Examiner as a news editor. Recently, she was a politics reporter at Fox News Media.
Schultz also served as a senior Washington correspondent at the New York Post and a president/board member of Regional Reporters Association.
She worked at The Detroit News for more than 11 years. There, she held the posts on the metro desk, as an investigative reporter, and as a reporter covering education, politics, government and Washington D.C. She interned at the Los Angeles Times.
Schultz holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.
