Schneider joins Times Union in New York as a rapid response reporter

Helen Rose Schneider has joined Times Union as a rapid response reporter. Recently, she was a reporter at the Observer-Dispatch in New York, where she worked for more than three years.

Schneider covered local government and events in the towns of Berne, Knox, Westerlo, and Rensselaerville for The Altamont Enterprise and Albany County Post. She wrote stories including, political pieces, long features, short breaking news, obituaries, and more.

Schneider graduated from the University of Albany, SUNY.
