The San Antonio Express-News has hired Annasofia Scheve as a trending reporter. Commenting on her new role, she wrote on X/Twitter:

Scheve will join from The Cincinnati Enquirer, where she was a breaking news intern.
She freelanced for the Cincinnati Magazine and held the posts of court reporter and lead courts reporter at Columbia Missourian, where she previously worked as a city/county government reporter.
She served as eat and drink editor at Vox Magazine, where she also contributed, and interned at MLex.
Scheve has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
