Jennifer Orsi, executive editor of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and VP of content/Florida-Georgia regional editor at Gannett | USA Today Network, will leave for a new opportunity. Her LinkedIn post reads:
“Time for some professional news from me. This coming week will be my last as executive editor of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Regional Editor for Gannett in Florida. I’m excited about my next opportunity and I’ll share more soon, but for now I want to thank the truly terrific people I’ve worked with since taking this job in 2021.”
Previously, Orsi worked at The Tampa Bay Times for more than 30 years. There, she served as deputy managing editor for local, metro and business and as managing editor.
Orsi has a B.A. in journalism and history from Indiana University Bloomington.
