Sarah D. Wire, a Justice Department and national security reporter at the Los Angeles Times, has taken on an expanded role as Washington accountability reporter. Her tweet reads:
“Still covering domestic extremism, Jan. 6 & Trump special counsel, but tackling government accountability/fraud/abuse, etc.”
Wire joined the Los Angeles Times as a congressional reporter. Before that, she was a state government and politics reporter, and Washington correspondent, at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. She was also a temporary legislative reporter at The Associated Press.
Wire graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
