Newsquest has hired Ginny Sanderson as a reporter for its Scottish national newspaper The Herald. She wrote on X/Twitter:

Sanderson joined from NationalWorld, where she served as deputy editor of the Edinburgh Evening News, and previously as an engagement executive. She has also worked as a senior reporter at JPIMedia.
Sanderson has a B.A. in English literature from the University of Kent and is an NCTJ-certified journalist.
