The San Francisco Chronicle has hired Ryan Ocenada as associate audience editor, helping expand the reach of the paper through search optimization and social media efforts.
Ocenada joins from NBCUniversal, where he was an audience development editor. He was also a managing editor/digital content manager for the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. He has also worked at Apple and was a contributing writer at FanSided.
He has also edited for the Bleacher Report.
Ocenada has a B.A. from the San Francisco State University.
