Kayla Samoy has joined the Chicago Tribune as deputy senior content editor. She comes from The Advanced Business Intelligence Solutions Group, an information services company in Evanston, Illinois, where she was an assistant editor.
She was also a news associate at The Associated Press and has also worked at The Arizona Republic. She was also a reporter at The New York Times Student Journalism Institute. She has also reported for the Arizona Sonora News Service in Tucson.
Samoy has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Arizona.
