Sammon joins Slate as a politics writer

Alexander Sammon

Alexander Sammon has joined Slate as a politics writer. Recently, Sammon was a staff writer at The American Prospect, an online and print political and public policy magazine.

He was a reporter-researcher and contributing writer at The New Republic. He was a contributing politics writer at Pacific Standard Magazine.

He was a fellow at Mother Jones and interned at The New York Times.

Sammon graduated from Brown University.
