Salcedo moves to WaPo’s general assignment desk

Andrea Salcedo

Andrea Salcedo, a Morning Mix reporter at The Washington Post, has taken on the role of general assignment reporter.

Salcedo was a freelance reporter for Gothamist.com and was a metro desk reporting fellow at The New York Times. She was part of a year-long academic fellowship at ProPublica and interned at CNN en Español, the Chicago Sun-Times and Better Government Association.

Salcedo has a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Chicago and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
