The Associated Press has hired Sydney Salazar as a product manager to build newsletters and other emerging platforms. Her tweet reads, “This is a dream job where I’ll get to work on an amazing digital product team expanding the reach of the AP’s world renowned journalists!”
Salazar was at Protocol, where she was a marketing manager, a role in which she led the launch marketing for new products and newsletters. She also managed newsletter audience growth efforts including email marketing.
She was also responsible for all newsletter data reporting.
Salazar has a B.A. from School of Public Affairs, American University.
