Sacramento Bee political reporter Bollag set to leave

Sophia Bollag

Sophia Bollag, a political reporter in The Sacramento Bee’s Capitol bureau, will be moving to join the San Francisco Chronicle, where she will be covering California politics.

Previously, she has covered California government for The Associated Press. She has also interned at the Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe and The Medill Justice Report. She was also a reporting fellow at The Texas Tribune.

Bollag has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, where she also worked at the student paper.
