Nikki Ross will transition to Southwest Florida to cover education for The News-Press and Naples Daily News. Currently, she is a K-12 education, health and COVID-19 reporter at The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Her last day is June 3.
Previously, she worked as a news assistant, health and general assignment reporter, then as a health and Flagler County government reporter at the News-Journal. She was also an intern at The Narrow Magazine in Florida.
Ross graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla.
