Rosenberg joins The Atlantic as staff writer

Yair Rosenberg

Yair Rosenberg, a contributing writer at The Atlantic, has joined full-time as a staff writer. Author of the Deep Shtetl newsletter, he is best known for his coverage about the intersection of politics, culture and religion.

In his new role, Rosenberg will continue to write the Deep Shtetl newsletter.

Previously, he was a senior writer at Tablet Magazine. He also wrote for The Washington Post, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and The Guardian.
