The Tallahassee Democrat has tapped Liam Rooney to serve as a sports reporter. Previously, he was a sports director at PantherNOW, Florida International University’s student newspaper.
There, Rooney also served as a staff writer. He was also a journalist at the Palm Beach Post and an associate editor at South Florida Media Network, which displays the work of journalism and media students at Florida International University.
Rooney graduated from Florida International University.
