WHEC-TV Ch. 10, an NBC affiliate in Rochester, N.Y., has tapped Lauren Leone to serve as an assignment editor. Recently, she held the post of assignment editor/web producer.
Previously, Leone was a segment producer at PBS member TV station WCNY-TV Ch. 24 in Syracuse, N.Y. She also worked as a news correspondent and newscaster at WICB-FM 91.7, Ithaca College’s radio station.
She interned at WROC-TV Ch. 8, a CBS affiliate in Rochester, N.Y.
Leone graduated from Ithaca College.
