The Times has hired Lizzie Roberts as a news editor. Recently, she was a health correspondent at The Telegraph, where she has worked for more than four years.
There, Roberts joined in September 2018 as an editorial graduate. She then held the posts of news reporter and health reporter. She freelanced for various outlets, including Dazed & Confused, The Independent, The i Paper, The Guardian and HuffPost.
Roberts has a bachelor’s degree from Lancaster University and a master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam.
