Rizzo to cover federal courts for the Washington Post

Salvador Rizzo

The Washington Post has tapped Salvador Rizzo on the Metro desk to cover federal courts in Virginia. He will also cover the Eastern District of Virginia and law enforcement in Arlington and Alexandria.

Rizzo joined the Post in 2008 as an intern. He rejoined in 2018 and recently helped cover the pandemic on the health and science team. In addition, he spent most of his time as a reporter on the Fact Checker.

Rizzo has formerly worked at the New York Observer, the Bergen Record and the Newark Star-Ledger.
