Elena Rivera will be moving to Dallas to join KERA News as a health reporter.
Most recently, she was a regional health reporter at Colorado Public Radio. She was also the 2020 cohort lead for the Association of Independents in Radio’s (AIR) New Voices program.
Rivera was also a reporter and host at Blue Ridge Public Radio and a producer at Georgia Public Broadcasting. She was also a producer, reporter and host at KBIA 91.3 FM.
Additionally, she has also worked at University of Missouri-Columbia and Dress for Success Triangle.
Rivera is a M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
