Ben Tavener, a senior producer at Thomson Reuters, has left. He wrote on X/Twitter:
“It’s been a huge privilege to be part of the Moscow TV team, as well as a very steep learning curve – I started as the war began. I am deeply grateful for the incredible professional experience I’ve been afforded.”
Previously, Tavener worked as a presenter and multimedia producer in Russia for BBC.
He was a Brazil correspondent at Anadolu Agency in Sao Paulo and has freelanced for BBC, Vice and Mashable. He was also a senior political/business reporter at The Rio Times in Brazil.
