Nicholas Schnittker, a sports editor at Wake Weekly, a weekly newspaper in Wake Forest, N.C., is set to depart. He wrote on X/Twitter:
“I’ll be starting a new position at the end of this month (which I am super excited for and will say more about that once I start).”
Before this, Schnittker was a news reporter for the Wilson Times, a newspaper in Wilson, N.C.
Both Wake Weekly and the Wilson Times are part of Restoration News Media.
He also held the posts of correspondent, staff writer, assistant sports editor and sports editor at Technician, North Carolina State University’s student newspaper.
Schnittker has a B.A. in communication and media studies from North Carolina State University.
