Reporter Swann joins the PolitiFact staff full-time

Sara Swann

Sara Swann has joined PolitiFact full-time as a contributing writer, fact-checking potentially false or misleading claims shared in the news or social media.

She was also a staff writer at The Fulcrum. US in Washington, D.C., where she covered political reform issues. She has also worked as a watchdog reporter at Delmarva Now and The Daily Times, part of the USA Today Network.

Additionally, she has also reported for OpenSecrets.

Swann has a B.S. in newspaper and online journalism from Syracuse University, where she also edited for the campus paper The Daily Orange.
