Christene Barberich, editor and co-founder of women’s lifestyle publication Refinery29, announced on Monday that she will be stepping down from her post after some employees complained on social media about discrimination they experienced at work, reports New York Times.

Barberich will resign from her post, effective immediately, but will stay on as adviser until fall.

Barberich started the company as co-founder 15 years ago and has since then held the post of editor.
