Reach journalist Carter set to depart

Helen Carter, deputy editor at Cheshire Live, Reach plc, will be leaving to join the Express as late news editor, working across print and digital.

Previously, she was UK and world editor at the Manchester Evening News and has also worked freelance. She has also worked as a broadcast journalist and senior broadcast journalist at the BBC. She previously also worked at The Guardian for over 14 years.

Carter graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University.
