The Des Moines Register has tapped Michaela Ramm to serve as a health care reporter. Ramm begins Aug. 1.
Recently, Ramm was a health care reporter at the Cedar Rapids Gazette, which she joined as an intern in 2016 before being promoted to general assignment reporter.
She was a Poynter Institute fellow and reported/edited for the Iowa State Daily, Iowa State University’s student paper.
Ramm has a B.A. in journalism from Iowa State University.
