The New York Times has hired Megha Rajagopalan as an investigative correspondent. Recently, she was a senior correspondent at BuzzFeed News, where she shared a Pulitzer Prize in international reporting.
There, she served as China bureau chief and Asia correspondent. Before that, she was a political correspondent at Reuters.
Formerly, she was a Fulbright fellow in Beijing and a research fellow at the New America Foundation in Washington.
Rajagopalan is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
