Pykett joins Daily Express as social media editor

Emily Pykett

Emily Pykett is now a social media editor at The Daily Express. Previously, she was a digital content and social media editor at Reach Plc.

She has also worked as a digital communications officer at Bristol City Council and was a social media manager at Find A Creative Pro and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. She was also a copywriter at Specialist Journeys.

She has also served as a digital marketing executive at Appius and was a social media manager at Socially Dorset. She has also held the posts of community manager and social media manager at Sea Salt Learning and RNLI, respectively.

Pykett was also a social media executive at Watershed PR and has worked as a communications team leader at Dorset Council. She was also acting deputy foreign editor at The Scotsman and has served as a political editor at The News, Portsmouth.

She was also a news reporter at The Big Issue and a senior reporter at Dorset Echo. She was also a reporter at The Paisley and senior VP at DUSA – Dundee University Students’ Association.

Pykett is a graduate of the University of Dundee.
