Eli Murray will join The New York Times as a graphics editor. He will begin on Feb. 21.
Murray will join the Times from the Tampa Bay Times, where he was an investigative/data reporter who used code to elevate the reporting and presentation of his stories.
He was also part of the team that “published Poisoned, an investigation into the working conditions at a lead smelter that won a Pulitzer for investigative reporting,” reports the New York Times.
He is an adjunct journalism instructor at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
Murray graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
