Providence TV station hires Perik as reporter

John Perik

John Perik has joined WJAR-TV, an NBC-affiliate in Providence, Rhode Island, as a reporter.

Previously, he interned at the TV station from June 2022 to August 2022.

Recently, Perik held the posts of Friday day reporter, social media director, “CitrusTV Now” anchor, assignment editor, senior reporter and news anchor at Citrus TV. He interned at WCVB-TV, an ABC-affiliate in Boston.

Perik has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
