Jon Moss, a copy editor and reporter at The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has left. The Pittsburgh Union Progress, the publication of the striking workers at the Post-Gazette, wrote on X/Twitter:
“With love and the highest regards, the PUP staff says goodbye to co-editor Jon Moss as he, alas, leaves Pittsburgh for Syracuse.”
Moss joined in June 2022 as an intern. In addition, he has interned at independent, nonprofit PublicSource and Vox Media.
He served as editor-in-chief of The Pitt News, the University of Pittsburgh’s student newspaper, where he also held the posts of staff writer, online visual editor, news editor and assistant news editor.
Moss has a BBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
