Posner named head of video at Semafor

Joe Posner

Semafor has hired Joe Posner as head of video. Posner joined from Vox, where he worked for more than eight years as an executive producer.

At Vox, Posner launched Vox Video and amassed more than 2 billion views and 10 million YouTube subscribers. He and his team also built multiple TV shows, including the hit “Explained” series on Netflix.

Posner has a B.A. from Brown University.
