WGME-TV Ch. 13, a CBS station in Portland, Maine has tapped John Ehrhart to serve as news director. Recently, he held the post of interim news director at KGWN-TV Ch. 5, a CBS and CW Plus affiliate in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Ehrhart also served as a news director at CBS station WDTV-TV Ch. 5 in Weston, W.Va., and at KCWY-DT, an NBC and CW Plus affiliate in Casper, Wyo.
He worked at WMAR-TV Ch. 2, an ABC affiliate in Baltimore, Md. for more than 15 years. There, he held various roles, including photographer, editor and assignment editor.
Ehrhart graduated from Arizona State University.
