Pollard swaps the Independent for the i Paper

The London-based i Paper has hired Alexandra Pollard as deputy culture editor. She joins from The Independent, where she held the same post.

Prior to joining The Independent in September 2018, Pollard was working freelance for The Guardian, Dazed and others. She was also an intern and staff writer at Gigwise, an online publishing company in London.

Pollard graduated from the University of York.
