Nahal Toosi, senior foreign affairs correspondent at Politico, is set to launch a new foreign affairs column “Compass.” She wrote on LinkedIn:

“It’ll be a reporting-driven feature designed to inform & enlighten readers about geopolitics & the people involved. And yes, I still intend to break news. Wish me luck! And message me tips right here on LinkedIn!”

Toosi has been with Politico for the past 10 years, joining as a deputy politics editor. She then held the foreign affairs correspondent post.

Prior to joining Politico in December 2013, she worked as a reporter, writer and editor for more than eight years at AP.

She reported for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and interned at the Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, Charlotte Observer and St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Toosi graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Be sure to congratulate Toosi on X/Twitter.
