Politico’s Burns departs for National Geographic

Kam Burns

Kam Burns has joined National Geographic as a senior producer for social and audience development. Recently, he was an engagement editor at Politico.

He formerly worked at Wired and has interned at The New York Times, The Hartford Courant, PolitiFact and WBUR-FM 90.9, NPR member station in Boston.

He was a metro correspondent at The Boston Globe.

Burns has a B.S. in journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
