Zach Montellaro is turning to a new state politics beat at Politico. Recently, he held the post of campaign reporter.
Montellaro joined Politico in 2016 as a web producer and then served as a Playbook producer. Prior to joining Politico, Montellaro was first an intern and then served as associate web producer at National Journal.
He was also at The GW Hatchet for 3 years, joining as a video editor. He then served as an online editor and was then made managing editor.
Montellaro holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with minors in economics and journalism.
