Politico has hired Blake Jones as California education reporter. He joins from Idaho Education News, where he recently reported on the Idaho Legislature, school budgets and education spending.
Jones was also a news reporter at the Idaho Press and has covered politics, government and education in Meridian and Kuna for the Idaho Press, Meridian Press, and Kuna Melba News. He has also previously interned at the Idaho Press.
Jones graduated from The College of Idaho, where he worked for the campus newspaper, The Coyote.
