Politico has appointed Nicholas Vinocur as editor at large. In his new role, Vinocur will cover major political and policy topics in conjunction with colleagues in Brussels, around Europe and across the Atlantic, and produce news and longer analysis pieces.
He will also write Politico’s Brussels Playbook on Fridays, joining Jacob Hanke Vela.
Recently, Vinocur was editor of Politico Pro. He also served as tech editor and France correspondent.
Prior to joining Politico in April 2015, Vinocur was at Thomson Reuters.
Vinocur has a B.A. from Yale University.
