Kaitlyn Locke, deputy editorial director for production and copy editing at Politico, has been appointed breaking news editor.
Locke joined Politico in November 2020 as a senior digital producer. Previously, she was a digital associate producer at GBH News.
She worked as a living/arts correspondent and homepage producer at The Boston Globe.
Locke has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Boston University, where she worked at the student paper, The Daily Free Press.
