Politico Europe has appointed Nektaria Stamouli, a freelance reporter at the outlet, as Eastern Mediterranean correspondent. Stamouli is based in Athens, Greece and also works as a foreign affairs reporter for Athens Macedonian News Agency.
She also worked in Athens as a journalist for the Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal bureau, and as a financial reporter for both Democratic Press S.A. and Reporter.gr.
Stamouli has a bachelor’s degree from Panteion University of Social and Political Science in Athens and a master’s degree from City, University of London.
