Politico has tapped Jonathan Martin to serve as politics bureau chief and senior political columnist. He begins Nov. 1.
Martin was a senior political correspondent at The New York Times and a political analyst at CNN. Prior to joining the Times, he was a senior political writer at Politico.
His work appeared in The New Republic, National Review, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
Martin graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
