Kierra Frazier, a digital producer at Politico, has been promoted to the post of breaking news reporter. Previously, she interned at Axios and the Chicago Sun-Times.
Frazier was also selected as a reporter for the New York Times Journalism Institute to produce one social justice story over the course of several months.
Frazier has a B.A. in journalism and political science from Northern Illinois University, where she was the managing editor of the student organization, The Northern Star.
