Politico editor McGill departs to start new firm

Andrew McGill

Andrew McGill, editor of interactive news at Politico. has left and started his own product consulting firm, The Andrew McGill Company.

McGill had worked at Politico for more than three years. Before that, he was a senior product manager at The Atlantic, where he also served as a senior associate editor. He was a graphics director at National Journal and a computer-assisted reporting coordinator at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He also reported for the Pennsylvania-based daily newspaper The Morning Call.

McGill has a B.A. in journalism from Penn State University, where he is also a lecturer.
