Politico has made three additions to its London Playbook team – Rosa Prince will join as an editor, Dan Bloom will join as deputy editor and Emilio Casalicchio will join as PM editor.
Prince will lead the London Playbook’s coverage as the newsletter edges towards 90,000 subscribers. Recently, Prince was an editor at The House magazine. Prince also commentated on politics in the UK and US, having reported for over 10 years at the Daily Mirror and the Daily Telegraph.
Bloom will join from the Daily Mirror, where he worked as an online political editor, focused on the pandemic, the welfare state, housing, Brexit and more. Previously, Bloom worked at local and national titles, including MailOnline and weekly newspapers in Kent.
Casalicchio will write the new afternoon edition of the London Playbook. Recently, Casalicchio served as an international trade and politics correspondent covering international trade from a UK perspective and politics in Westminster. He also covered the Brexit process.
Previously, he worked at PoliticsHome, where he served as chief reporter and political reporter. He also worked at the Press Gazette.
