The Plain Dealer came second for “Best Daily Newspaper” for papers with a circulation of 60,000 or more in the 2020 edition of the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists awards.
The awards received 472 entries, 239 awards were announced and will be celebrated virtually Nov. 6.
Apart from The Plain Dealer, two freelancers from cleveland.com were also award recipients.
