Pittsburgh’s CBS station hires Shinn as weekend AM anchor

Megan Shinn

KDKA-TV Ch. 2, Pittsburgh’s CBS outlet, has appointed Megan Shinn weekend AM anchor. She will join from Indianapolis, Ind. ABC affiliate WRTV-TV Ch. 6, where she held the post of anchor.

Previously, Shinn was a reporter at WVEC-TV Ch. 13, an ABC affiliate in Hampton, Va. She held the posts of reporter and multimedia journalist at KMTR-TV Ch. 16, an NBC and CW Plus affiliate in Eugene, Ore. She interned at NBC News and CBS News.

Shinn graduated from Chapman University in California.
